As the NSW Government is further easing restrictions from 25 February 2022, we have once again updated our COVID-related policy in response to the evolving circumstances. We hope that this is the last time we will need to have this special policy in place for the bookings made in the interim.

Until further notice, this "Covid-19 refund and rescheduling policy - effective from 28 February 2022" will come into effect on and from 28 February 2022, and supersedes the refund and rescheduling policy we published on 1 July 2021, for all bookings made on or after 28 February 2022.

If you have paid a wedding day / special event deposit prior to 28 February 2022, the old policy continues to apply.

(1) Weddings postponed due to government health orders or isolation orders

If the wedding cannot be legally held due to government heath orders or isolation orders, then you will be able to reschedule your booking to any date within the next 12 months. A small rescheduling fee applies (please see #24 of our booking terms and conditions).

Some of the examples are:

• the couple (or one of them) contracted Covid less than 7 days before the wedding, and is subjected to an isolation order on the day of the wedding;
• the couple is a household contact of a person who contracted Covid less than 7 days before the wedding, and is subjected to an isolation order on the day of the wedding;
• a government order prohibits all weddings to proceed, or limit the number of guests at your venue to less than 50.

This rescheduling will be subject to our availability, so please work with us before you confirm the new date. We will need to be flexible and we may need to send you a different stylist to the one originally allocated. Regrettably, we cannot offer a refund if you choose a new date on which we have no stylist available.

There will be no limit to the number of instances you may postpone your wedding due to government-imposed restrictions. However, the rescheduling fee will be payable each time you would like to reschedule the wedding.

By now, couples planning for their weddings would all be contemplating the possibility of postponement, and to be fair for our team members we will not continue to offer refunds (full or partial) by reason of government health or isolation orders, unless the legislation requires otherwise.

(2) Weddings postponed for any other reason

If you would like to reschedule or cancel the wedding day booking for any other reason, then our standard booking terms and conditions will apply.

We will no longer be accepting reasons such as families are unable to come to the wedding from overseas, or family members (apart from the couple) required to isolate, as a basis to request a refund.

(3) Trials and other special events

There will be no special COVID-related policies in place for trials and special events. That said, our standard booking terms and conditions provide flexible options for rescheduling (see #5,#6 for trial and #15, #16 for other special events), subject to minimum notification period and payment of a small administrative fee.
