Jessica & Young - Maternity Photoshoot

A huge congratulation to Jessica & Young, who have recently become parents to their gorgeous boy.  We are so honored to be able to share these maternity photos with Jessica's permission, captured by @annaclairestudio 

Makeup and hair for Jessica was styled by our senior stylist Holly, keeping everything soft and simple to let the maternity glow shine through.

Jessica's photoshoot was particularly special to us. There was a story behind it. This photoshoot was the last booking we could do before Sydney's 2021 lockdown.

Jessica had Stella did her makeup & hair for her wedding a few years ago. As always we are very pleased to have our happy client returning to us for more special events.  

The day before the restrictions were about the start, it was messy. A few LGAs would first go into lock down, and different rules would apply to different people depending on where they live and where they had been. There were exemptions. Traveling for work would have been an exemption, but because Stella went to one of the hotspots 9 days before that, Jessica and we agreed that sending another stylist would be best. This was late afternoon on the day before the photoshoot, our senior stylist Holly did not even hesitate to drop everything planned for the next day so that she could step in.

We were relieved that Jessica did her photoshoot that day, because at 6pm that afternoon, Sydney would enter into the second complete lockdown. There would have been no second chance for capturing such a precious moment that is so important for this couple.
